MetricLabs brings enterprise-grade accessibility, analytics, and conversion tools to every Shopify merchant. We believe the best tooling should be opinionated, fast, and accessible to anyone running a store, not just the ones with big budgets.

How it started

Too many Shopify merchants were overpaying for accessibility and analytics tools that were either too complex to use or too expensive to justify. We saw store owners spending thousands on compliance audits that went stale the moment they published new content, and analytics platforms that required a dedicated analyst to interpret.

We started MetricLabs to change that. We're building a connected suite of Shopify apps that make accessibility compliance, analytics, and conversion optimization accessible to every merchant, not just the ones with big budgets and dedicated teams.

Timeline

  1. 2025 MetricLabs is founded with the idea for WCAG Scanner, WCAG Popups, Quiz Builder, and an A/B Testing app for Shopify merchants.
  2. 2026 Launched Mnem.cards to support my kids with learning through spaced repetition flashcards.

We resist the urge to build features that impress engineers but confuse merchants. Every metric we surface should tell a clear story and suggest a clear action.

Accessible by default

Every product we ship meets WCAG 2.2 AA. Accessibility is not a checklist item we revisit before launch - it's a design constraint from day one.

Data you own

We store only what we need, explain exactly why we need it, and make it trivially easy to export or delete. Your store data is yours - we are just temporary custodians.

Fast or it's broken

A slow dashboard is a broken dashboard. We hold ourselves to strict performance budgets and treat any regression as a production incident, not a future ticket.

Partnership, not vendor lock-in

We grow when our merchants grow. That means transparent pricing, honest roadmaps, and no dark patterns. If we ever stop being the best tool for you, we'll help you move on.

Long-term thinking

We are bootstrapped and intend to stay that way. No growth-at-all-costs pressure, no pivot to enterprise, no enshittification. We build for the long run.
